In Aarchon there are 16 different classes that you may choose, all of which are available at the time of creation. Each class has some skills and/or spells that are shared with other classes, as well as its own unique skills and/or spells. Remember that the race you select may have a dramatic impact on you class, so do your research and choose wisely. Your race can be changed each remort -- your class is permanent.
| Assassin | Cleric | Gladiator | Gunslinger | Illusionist |
| Mage | Monk | Necromancer | Ninja | Paladin |
| Ranger | Samurai | Templar | Thief | Warrior |
| Bard |
Illusionists are masters of deception. Through slight of hand, smoke, mirrors, and truly awesome feats of magic, they can make things appear, disappear, and transform at will. They are experts at twisting the mind through impossible sensory experiences and direct mental pressure. Illusionists are scam artists, and can sometimes bilk the populace out of their money on a far grander scale than any thief could dream of. When this fails, their nimble fingers and awe- inspiring distractions help them to take it in a more direct fashion.
Prime stat: Luck Secondary stats: Wisdom, Dexterity
Illusionists are primarily known for their great ability as questers. Their Luck and Charisma stat bonuses, use of damage spells and defensive stances allows them to survive longer than expected, even without healing powers.
Some skills/spells that are (mostly) unique to the Illusionist class are:
Astral Projection
Confusion
Disguise
Distract
Draconian Spells (Acid, Fire, Frost, Gas, and Lightning Breath)
Focus
Laughing Fit
Mirror Image
Peek
Pick Lock
Shadowwalk
