a4 & a5 ideas (another one!) |
|
A3 offers cross-subclasses at a 60%/40% split (spoilers!), which is fun. I
mean, 60% of any subclass kind of sucks, and 40% sucks 33% more than that 60%,
so it greatly limits the bump. I've found that 100% of a single subclass is
better, but I'm a dumb dick.
That being said, I like the chance to experiment. So what I was thinking was
expanding on that idea into A4 & A5 by giving greater percentages and, perhaps,
introducing a third subclass option into the mix.
A3 - Two subclasses, 60% primary and 40% secondary (100% total, duh doi)
A4 - Two subclasses, 90% primary and 60% secondary (150% total for those of you
without a graphic calculator handy).
-OR-
Three subclasses, 60%, 50%, 40% (also 150% total)
A5 - Two subclasses, 100% primary and 80% secondary (180% total!)
-OR-
Three subclasses, 80%, 60%, 40% (also 180% total!)
Each class has three subclasses, so this creates a way for a character to
potentially take parts of all three. That's my story BYEBYE!
