| New race idea to fit into r6. I thought that tier was lacking a spellcaster thiefly type to be on the brighter side as opposed to the dark demeanor of Illithid. Chrysalies are tiny winged humanoids that to the untrained eye appear to be nothing more than butterflies or moths. They get there name from the fact that like their insect counterparts they emerge from a chrysalis. Although for them its a birth not a metamorphosis. They have a mental tenacity that belies their size. That, matched with a metabolism that wastes little allows them to recover from both mental and physical exhaustion quickly. Being so closely entwined in nature has given them the ability to ask nature for assistance as well as find their way through any terrain though urban landscapes are a bit more difficult. On occasion they have been known to produce an excess of the dust covering their wings to reveal what even their complex eyes cannot.
