| So I didn't quite understand what was mentioned about paladins and haggle, but on the subject I never would expect a paladin, or any pious figure to be one for haggling. Clerics don't get this either. I feel they're more concerned with fairness, and their duty than the best price for their wares. As for Samurais/Focus, I see the concern of making classes no more similar than they need to be, but they are mages. The other 4 mage types all have focus, including Illusionist having Focus AND Dagger Focus. Samurais being mages have a good deal of mage spells, nukes mainly, and dispel magic. Nukes and dispel really need to utilize focus in order to be worth casting over damaging/utility attacks that a fighter hybrid already specializes in. I don't see the harm in giving them this passive until the class can be reworked more thoroughly if that is the intention. Perhaps another skill--Sword/Katana Focus, a Warrrrrior's Focus/Discipline? I really don't think it should be a subskill, but it fits for bonded blade very well. |
