| I think the current playerbase is mostly agreed about this point - this is a better place without Maedhros and Eris. With that in mind, they were also the ones who made their own Quest Eq (traditionally, it wasn't actually made by yourself, as that's just ego stroking.....instead, q eq was made for the original founders, then added to honour past immortals who had left the realm, or made great contributions. It was never made by oneself and added to the game) So what I propose is that immortals run a 2 part quest. Part 1: Immortals receive "nominations" of past immortals who are deserving of being remembered or honoured for their contributions to Aarchon. Part 2: Once a shortlist has been decided upon by the imms, (though votes, convincing arguements, etc) then the next step would be the names for the q eq with those 2 imms' names. Of course, being a past imm, it could sound like I'm fishing, (not that I'd mind being nominated) but I just feel dirty putting anything with Eris' name on it around my waist and near my nuggets.... I also don't feel that Maedhros designed those pants with my extreme level of flattulance in mind. In all seriousness though, I think the spirit of the q eq is tarnished with those two names on them, and would be honestly thrilled to see just about anyone else on there. (Could even do a rename of the Quantum shield as well?) Some imms that I remember, and imho really helped add to the Aarchon experience were: Shakti, Gani, Urza, Astark, Vodur, Xzylvador, Aethyn, and Xantos... just to name a few. |
