Gun Cleaning |

I think it would be really cool to introduce a new mechanic to guns. We
never had to worry about ammo, and instead Rangers took up that burden with
their bows and arrows. Perhaps we can worry about making sure our more
technical equipment is fully functional and finely tuned now and again.
Gun cleaning can be something we actively apply to any individual gun, would
consume a lot of time (heavy game lag) and "Buff" the gun or set it to a
100% status that would degrade back down with more usage. A clean gun

would be more precise (bonus to Sharp Shooting and Snipe/Aim), and also
make the gun far less likely to jam up than previously. It would also
be shinier.
The skill could also be more involved, Gun Smithing, in which slingers
can craft guns, use the skill to examine guns and see how clean and up
to spec they are actively, and then clean them. Possibly with the
ability to craft our own unique ammunition. This wouldn't be damtype
based like Enchant Arrow, but perhaps more in line with effects
like piercing rounds (puncture), explosive (flaming), electrical
discharge (shocking) except...all much more potent than these
typical respective flags, only loadable into a twohander (where)

you would ideally have to equip the bullet on the Hold slot, and
impose a large amount of lag to fire this special ammunition that
would in essence have a very heavy recoil.
Or just the gun cleaning. Yep.
