Gaze and Gouge - Gorgons, Blind |

Right now, Gorgons are one of the primary candidates for utility against our
more deadly mobs. A big problem with this is that you have to opt out of using
a crucial utility, Blind. Of course it makes sense to go with the
myth/mechanics fully that a blind person wouldn't have to worry about a
Gorgon's Gaze. However, I think the race really can't be viable this way.
Gaze is tough to land passively and actively on high level mobs. Due to this,
it's also very hard to justify using it over easier to apply blinds peppered
in, then on to damage or additional maledictions, or longer lasting blinds and
then coast with damage. Right now you kind of just milk what passives you get
before/after blinds hopefully, and do your normal stuff.

It would be great if a Gorgon could still screw you over with both abilities
somewhat. My idea is that if you gaze a target with slow/stop, then follow-up
with blind in time, the target will at least remain hindered with the basic
gaze (the slow). If they were fully gaze and then blinded (tough to do), then
maybe the stopping gaze can last longer, or a stronger slow could be put in
place. This introduces a desire to use the active more often, and demands
timing on the user and/or coordination with the party to land the combo. It
would still not always work out, but the incentive would be great.
