Subject Ability to change classes on a single player name
Like the command for morph which changes your race I would like the ability to change my class This command should be restricted to a safe, non combat type of room. This command is to allow a character to retain a character name and play multiplay classes So as I have leveled templar to 94, have played thief to 91 when I am playing templar and wanted to play my thief I would enter the changing room (pun intended!) and type: class thief I would now be a level 91 lep thief with all of my thief gear. My inventory would remain the same, only gear worn on change would be retained with the previous char. So if you wanted to keep an item through a class change you'd remove it first You would only be able to use the skills gained on your current class (and race skills) and they would retain the % of the highest class you've played. So my 100% dagger on my thief shows as 100% on my templar, though the effective % would be lower for my templar due to the difference in maximun value. Any "gained" group would remain kept but any hp/mp/mv trained or tattoos purchased would only be retained on the class that did so. So I decide to play a cleric for the first time. When I make the change I am kicked to the character creation screen, having already selected cleric and have to roll the char for the first time (and pick a race) As templars and clerics share the "healing" group I'd already have that gained on my newly created cleric. Even though my templar has 2nd attack at 100% as cleric never gains it I would have no access to that skill as a cleric. Thus balance is maintained. I'm sure I've overlooked a few things and the idea needs to be fleshed out a bit more but I think it more interesting than creating a new character for every class as many have done. Let me know your thoughts on it. -Psalter
