Aarchon will not be a PK mud. The things we have been toying with sure seem like we are on our way to making pk more than what it needs to be. We have more pk characters than some clan's have members. EQ only made for PK or areas only made to induce pk is a horrible idea if you intend of saying Aarchon is not a pk mud. Right now we have three tiers that do well for us. If you want to try some combat out, you can buy a warfare or wait for one to be initiated and have nothing to lose when exploring this venue. The very least you will get stats on your finger profile, and earn some quest points. I'm not a fan of the no-regen thing while in warfare. Allk I'm going to reference you a lot here sorry bro. If there's a three person warfare and you managed to kill the other combatant first and leave Allk last, you are going to want those hp mana and move back. I really don't care how long the warfare takes so all those bystanders who like to type warsit and complain on the length of the battle really? Join the warfare or type warsit and enjoy it. Yes two healers fighting is like watching the grass grow but its their fight. Don't impose timers or trans to the center. Well, hang on i'll approve of one idea. I heard someone else bring this up. The last two in the warfare get trans'd to the center with a restore. Your spellups and time remaining on spells will be on you, so you do run the risk of being the guy who got caught without sanc or a short time remaining. I don't want to see someone who just killed 2 players to get forced to fight Allkohl. Another option is to just keep it going as is, and maybe award some quest points and achievements to individual kills. That whole idea about being tran'd to the center isn't necessary if people are being rewarded for the individual kills. I don't want to see the ability to flee from someone being nerf'd. That is how Rogues should play. If you are a healer who can't keep a fight going well I think you should reconsider your role as a healer in a pk fight. I'm not saying you can't pk i'm saying all that hp and mana and healing is your advantage while other classes use other tools. Again if you don't like it, Gholam race has entrapment and Treant. Enough about warfare. Pk. I was surprised my thief couldn't steal eq from other Pk's. That's not how it was in the beginning and I disagree with how it is currently set up. I really like the ability to steal all her sanc pills and then wear out her sanc to the last tick before initiating a backstab. A female glad that used to do wafares at level 30 didnt like that either. That's what pk thieves do. c You have multiple options to make PK worthwhile. I'm still debating on a lot of things myself. I think it was Kyriel who made the comment about wanting some sort of bonus or payoff for taking the step into PK. Right now it is exp. Would it be possible to add gold and quest points, and stack a little more for those that are hardcore? Right now being PK is great for the ability to duel other players. It isn't being explored but the ability is there.
