Gladiators should not have such a terrible Dual Sword. 85%? It's likely
the most common weapon seen in the arena. Hell, what happens in the darn
film? Most iconic behead by our man Crowe. Thin that was 85% skill level??
Dual axe at 90 is even low, but fine with them being inferior to Rangers
still. Gladiators may be the masters of all things combat and weaponry, but
any jack of all trades can fall victim to a specialist.
Re: previous note--a twohanded attack other than round swing is def. needed.
Round swing misses a lot, hits the whole room, and even if you don't care
about that is still unlikely to hit your primary target. Also can cause
ber
you to fall on your bum. Which is all fine, but they need a single target
move.
Gunslingers need dual wield if they are to make any use out of maces, and
should also be given whips after this. Hogties could also be considered
affected by dual wield, and/or be a function of whips via gunslingers.
Maybe give a mace specialty attack called Imbed. Imbed aims at an already
punctured wound in your victim, tears deeper into it, smashing, ripping,
and pulling more chunks of your enemy out along with it. This could
also be used on shot locks that didn't quite do the job yet. Or doors
even. Would be neat to have locks/doors that can be shot/picked, and
those that need an extra finisher. Maybe introduce a sort of hit points
for locks.
