Avalanche would be a mountain terrain only spell with maybe reduced potency in
hill rooms. The core concept of the spell is you cause an avalanche by
disrupting the mountainside. The spell would function somewhat like control
weather, where eventually the avalanche will start. Over time and with
additional casts, the avalanche will grow in power and persist throughout the
fight regardless of user input, doing more and more damage ever so often. Kind
of like how we wanted magic missile to be something you could stack up, and
with enough stacks invested, it will provide decent DoT.
Damage type likely bash. Maybe half bash half pierce (think jagged rocks).
Could involve rain/snow in there somehow, idk. Plenty of ways to complicate
it. Including dazzle effect, friendly fire damage, etc. Nothing capitalizes
on mountains/hills yet, and a DoT spell with momentum would be interesting.
