| Right now, if you try to use a meta magic flag/shortcut, and don't have the requisite skills, it says "You need the '____' skill for this!" and does not cast the spell. Since alias space is limited, I was wondering if it would be possible to change this a bit so if you lack the required skill due to remorting or whatever, it would still cast the spell normally, and perhaps give a message to indicate that the meta-magic flags weren't activated. i.e. casting sanc with empower flag might look like this: alias sanc ecast sanctuary sanc You are surrounded by a white aura. ... but you lacked the skill to extend the spell. |
