I had a rather random idea for quests: if the game keeps track of the number
of players who succeeded or failed at each quest, we could 1) give a bonus
for completing quests that have low completion rates. It would give a nice
sense of satisfaction to complete a quest that, e.g., 5 people have failed at
before, and get a bonus of 25qps for it.
And 2) a system like this could also help to eliminate quests that have
the lowest completion rates. I'm guessing the quest algorithm chooses
mobs randomly by level, and inevitably it would produce some infeasible/
near-infeasible quests (e.g. mansion tunnel quests maybe :P, but not
complaining :) ) so a system like this might help solve that problem.
By the way I really like the new requesthard, it's nice having the
extra option.
Anyway, thanks for reading my ramblings :)
