It would be a big help if the numbers on maps were clustered by area in ascending order starting from the area entrance. The entrance would be 0, the next room 1, and so on. I realize that maps spread out in all directions so that this isn't simple, but as long as all the 30's are clustered fairly close and the 40's are in a somewhat nearby area, it would be easy to find a given number on a map. Then the map could be be indexed/labeled twice, once in alphabetical order order and once in numerice order. There is no reason the first alphabetic entry needs to be #1. Now it might be #56. This way you could look up a room name, find it's number, and zero in on it's general area on the map. THe numerically indexed labeling would allow you to look at the map and find the room name. The reason I suggest this is I am partially VI and have poor eyesight. It takes a lot of looking and eye strain to hunt all over a map for a number. If the the numbers are grouped together by similar numbers, it would make it much, much easier to find a number. I'm sure fully sighted folks would appreciate this also. If this wasn't clear, let me try to summarize. The maps currently have one legend. I'm proposing two. One alphabetically by room name, one by increasing numbers. Presently these are the same. But if map numbering was done not alphabetically, but regionally, they would be different. And it would be far easier to find a number on a map
