| Just a couple ideas to add a little bit of variety to the existing quest system, hopefully without too much coding or award inflation. Apologies if similar things have been suggested in the past: 1. Bonus for completing consecutive quests. If you complete three quests in a row, you get 1 bonus qp. This bonus is for every set of three quests, so for example the 3rd, 6th, 9th, etc., quests in a run of consecutive quests. El Cid says 'You've completed three quests in a row!' El Cid says 'As a reward, I am giving you 1 quest point.' 2. Occasionally (3% of the time or so) you get a quest that gives you bonus points for completing it quickly. Faster completions give more of a bonus: completed in under 1 minute, between 1-3 qp; under 3 minutes, 1 qp. El Cid says 'The quicker the better on this one.' El Cid says 'That was quick.' El Cid says 'As a reward, I am giving you <1-3> quest point<s>.' El Cid says 'That was pretty quick.' El Cid says 'As a reward, I am giving you 1 quest point.' Where bonuses would be awarded separately from a quest's award. |
