wrist shield unarmed |

2272. 2015/12/06 Bobble Unarmed + shield interpreted as wrist shield if
user has wrist shield skill.
This isn't working at the moment. Putting on a wrist shield is no different
than putting on a held object at the moment. I lose the complete bonus from
evasive action, which is steep, a heavier hit than I even gain from the shield.
Offhand attacks also suffers severely.
This is both hands unarmed:

The penalty to offhand is a percentage I imagine, so it'll be even worse of a
hit when I'm max lvl since base offhand attack rate will be up to 98-100%.

Dodge is better than shield block for a lot of reasons too, so wrist shield
really needs to bring some good numbers to the table without too much of a hit
to other areas. I understand warforged only gets it at 80% proficiency, but
it'll still need to be an improvement over no shield for viability. Offense
will always suffer for it.
There are also some weird changes to defensive stats during battle. Just for
being in battle...not due to significant hp loss, debuffs, prone status, or
anything I could observe.
Fighting a vinka mob solo, base defense actually went up (note shadowwalk is on
here, but that doesn't affect dodge or parry):

Something wonky going on. I thought it might be due to the fact that the
changelog was missing last night. Vodur has fixed it since, as I was unable to
reference the recent wrist shield change above earlier, but it looks like some
changes still aren't in effect. This has been happening fairly often where
newer patches or changes bring about missing changes from before. What's going
on?
