| Weapon damage has been updated for all weapons. New specs are: One-handed: (level+10) * 0.6 pre-90, (level-60)*2 post-90 Two-handed: (level+10) * 0.9 pre-90, (level-60)*3 post-90 In effect this means an increase for weapon damage at low level but no changes at high level, at least for one-handed weapons. For two-handed weapons, base damage is +50% higher, but you don't get a +50% twohand bonus. For one-handed weapons wielded in two hands, the twohand bonus got decreased to +33%, but the twohand skill adds an additional +33% (for both twohanded weapons and one-handers wielded in two hands). To summarize: * At low level, all weapons deal a bit more damage. * Twohanded weapons should deal just as much as before. * Onehanded weapons wielded in two hands deal less than before without the twohand skill, more if you have it (same at 50% skill). All weapons in the game have been adjusted (including hand of siva). I have manually updated sword of kings and staff of ancients to lvl 100 specs. If you know of any other weapons that may require special treatment, please let us know. |
