| I have received the check but I do have some issues with the amount you have deducted. First off you haven't actually provided any documentation from the company that did the work which you are required to do so. Secondly you have charged me for work that hasn't even been done as I am well aware that no one has gone in to replace the carpet. I feel that you are trying to take advantage of me and doing so in a manor that is illegal. I am asking that you send me a check for an additional 200 dollars and I will cut my loses beyond that and would be willing to sign paperwork stating so. If you don't agree that this is fair then I will be taking you to small claims court for not only the full amount of my security deposit since you didn't provide me with my deposit within 21 days with legitimate paperwork to define why money was being deducted. In addition I will be informing the judge that you made me wait a month to do repairs to the water damaged roof while allowing damage to occur to my property all so you could reduce the cost on your end even though I provided you with a suitable roofer in the area. In addition I will also be informing the judge that I will be pursuing a "bad faith" issue with my security deposit which if you are found to have been negligent which you clearly have been by not following the law that you will be responsible for paying at least double my security deposit.
