| There is a pretty simple way to stop misgates, which is through the use of portal stones. There are at least 7 or 8 in-game that aren't terribly difficult to find. They're not one time use, but they do have a chance of exploding with each gate. As long as you're holding one, you won't misgate. The reason misgates exist is because gate has a huge advantage over walking. It allows you to complete quests in seconds, it allows you to skip aggro mobs, avoid fighting mobs to get keys, and saves a tremendous amount of time. I understand the frustration of landing in a no-recall room, but I think the design is good. |
