| Sketch, I think you have the full support of the IMMs here on this one, as long as we are able to find a balance with the races. I'd like to see one new race added for each remort, r1-r6. No more r7 races since it's our current and max remort, and no more r0 races because it has enough. We aren't going to be able to pull races from r0 and move them to say r1 because it would require us to do a mandatory race change on players who already have picked that race. The racial skills, specialties, etc., need to be balanced and fall in line with the other races of the same remort. No dragon races. We need to have a balance of caster/fighter races, so take a look at what already exists for each remort and find out where there might be a gap. Everyone is encouraged to participate in this discussion. Not every idea is going to be implemented, but we will try to come to a majority vote of some sort. You guys can also include sample stats and as I have time to put these into the code, I'll let you know how far out of "spec" they are. Don't expect this to be an overnight project, but I'm willing to work with all you on it over the next couple of weeks. |
