This group deals with the handling of explosive devices. These skills
allow a crafty player to utilize his skills to create and ignite explosives!
Explosives come in many shapes and sizes, some mundane and some magical, so
only the well-trained should attempt to use them. Even players who are at
ease with handling dangerous materials may sometimes slip and cause a
misfire.
Syntax: cast 'create bomb'
ignite [obj] [timer]
bomb [ground|target]
Bombs will explose 2 ticks after being ignited (unless thrown at a target,
in which case they explode immediately). This duration can be reduced by
specifying a timer. Mastery in ignite increases the maximum timer duration.
Damage dealt by bombs is half bashing and half fire, and victims who fail
their saving throw are knocked prone. Thrown bombs only deal damage to the
target, while bombs planted in a room will affect everyone (though damage
is reduced significantly).
Higher-level bombs deal more damage, but mishaps while igniting them are
more likely for inexperienced demolitioners.
