| Syntax: cast renewal
The renewal spell increases the duration of all enhancing spells currently
affecting the caster by one hour, up to a maximum of twice the spells normal
duration, though there is a chance for renewal to fail once the normal duration
has been reached. Also, it increases the level of those spells, up to the
level of the renewal spell. In addition to its casting cost, renewal drains
mana based on the renewed spells' basic mana cost and duration.
