| Syntax: cast 'recharge' <item> The recharge spell is used to restore energy to depleted wands and staves. Recharging a wand of staff costs gold proportional to the original cost and number of charges expended. Each time a wand or staff is recharged, its maximal number of charges is reduced by 1.
