| As with any being, over time mutants went through an evolution. That final
outcome making them slightly different from what they were before and hence
becoming Phreaks. As with their ancestors, Phreaks have the latent talent to
strengthen their minds and bodies. Like mutants they have the ability to
cause fear in their enemies and change their appearance, but unlike their
predecessors, they have gained the ability to use plagues and epidemics to
their advantages. Because of these abilities they have gained the resistances
to both poisons and diseases.
