| Paladins are fighters devoted to fighting the all-encompassing battle between
good and evil and often develop their own peculiar ideas about the religion they
are professing. Paladins sometimes generate these ideas from visions they
receive while in altered mental states. Paladins are unfailingly
egocentric. This is what set them on the career path that they're on, as
opposed to simply joining the military or clergy. They often make
themselves out as prophets or even gods, and more or less believe this
delusion. The culmination of the Paladin Syndrome is a powerful warrior
with divine gifts, making a truly formidable foe to the opposing moral power.
