Okay, we have, as immortals, decided to relax the 'rules' for clanwars. In
fact, you could say we've thrown them out. HOWEVER, this does not mean
there is a free-for-all regarding clanwar. There are these very simple and logical
guidelines that all clans are expected to abide by.
1. The "Rules of Engagement" are no more. They were vague and cumbersome.
2. There is a 2 week maximum on all clanwars. Following any clanwar, there is
a mandatory peace that will last for at least twice the length of the wartime.
Example - clanwar lasts 1 week, mandatory peactime = 2 weeks. Very simple.
3. This is for all elders to read and understand. Just because there are no
more formal 'rules' regarding clanwar does not give you free reign. There still
needs to be some resemblance to roleplay to start a war. Don't use RL situations
as a justification for clanwar. Those still won't fly. You are being trusted
with this command. Don't abuse it. Abuse of the clanwar commands means that
if an immortal decides your reasons are not valid and stops the war, you are NOT
to keep on declaring war over and over again because you think it is valid. Wait
for another immortal to discuss it. Write a note of appeal. It will then be
discussed and ruled upon.
4. If you decide to abuse the clanwar commands, you are subject to the followin
g punishments. First offense: Loss of Elder rank for 1 week RL. Second offense:
loss of Elder rank for 1 month RL. Third offense: Permenant loss of Elder
status.
As always, direct all questions and complaints to your local complaint
representative.
