Here on Aarchon, we strive to encourage roleplay and fantasy type themes. As a
result, selection of a character's name is crucial to ensuring that the feel of
roleplay is kept in the game. The immortal staff reserves the right to reject
any name coming into the game. Names may be rejected for a number of reasons,
such as:
1) Offensive names -- names that are considered to be explicit, vulgar or
otherwise offensive to anyone may be rejected.
2) Nonsensical names, such as a random assortment of letters thrown together, an
ordinary word that is used in day-to-day life, or anything else that is
considered "too silly" to be roleplayable.
3) Names that are similar to ones that already exist here in Aarchon.
4) Names that would be more suitable for the name of a weapon or other object
than for a player, e.g. DeathBlade, PainBringer, Avenger, etc.
5) Names that include a title, such as "Sir", "Lord", "Dr", "Mrs", or
anything of that sort.
6) Names that are made up compound words, such as Clockwerkz, Maxfury, etc.
If your name is not accepted, you may rename yourself using the NAME command
(simply type "name" followed by your new choice of name).
After this, your new name will be resubmitted for consideration.
