Only three types of creatures, doppelgangers, nagas and raksasha, have the ability
to morph.
A doppelganger, as the double of a living creature, becomes another race simply
by reaching out and touching an individual of that race. It gains the physical
attributes of that race, as well as its resistances and vulnerabilities.
Note that racial SKILLS of the race morphed into are NOT gained. However,
the process of morphing is both physically and magically draining and will sap
the doppelganger of a large percent of its power.
MORPH <target> will alter the doppelganger, while MORPH with no argument will
return the doppelganger to his natural state without the mana cost or lag.
Nagas, on the other hand, are serpentlike creatures which take on humanoid form
when attempting to placate those who frighten easily. Because their shapeshift
is much less drastic in nature, they hardly tire at all, nor do they take as
long to begin moving again.
MORPH without an argument will switch a serpentine naga into human form or a
humanoid naga into serpent form.
NOTE: Doppelganger can morph into any race available to players up to their
remort level. If they morph into a lower-remort race, they do recieve the
respective stat bonus. Morphing duration and cost both go up as the doppelganger
increases in level. Also, morphing into high-remort races is more exhausting
than morphing into low-remort ones.
