mob changes updates mobbles
On March 30th 2013, we implemented a change to mobs that will dramatically change how the game is played. We are open to feedback on this change, however we ask that you open your mind to the new system and read through the notes below, first. 1) Mob hp at higher levels has been reduced by 50% 2) Mob hp at lower levels has been increased slightly, although not by a specific %, as it is different per each mob level 3) Mobs hit harder than before 4) Mobs hit more often than before 5) Mobs now have real mana, and real move values (meaning skills like choke and energy drain are more useful) 6) These changes affect your summoned / companion mobs as well (sidekicks, golems, zombies, pets, etc.) They will hit harder, but live shorter lives. Additionally, we made some other changes. Here are some notes that will help you while deciding how to level. 1) You gain 120% of normal exp when leveling alone. This goes down to 100% with a group of 2, and gradually decreases to 66% with a group of 10. 2) You now regenerate faster at Palace Square and at Mercy 3) The haste spell no longer cuts your regeneration in half, when you are out of combat. Here are some recommendations on how to modify your leveling tactics. 1) If you're leveling solo, fight lower level mobs. You will not be receiving the same amount of exp that you're used, but EXP per minute will be higher if you fight "easier" mobs, as they will die faster, not hurt you so much, and require less downtime 2) Use maledictions, and debilitating skills. Skills like guard, weaken, slow, blind, curse, etc., will make the mob less likely to hit you. 3) Stay spelled up. Bring pills with you. 4) Keep current on your equipment, and your weapons.
