'mortal kombat death matches' mkdm
******************************************************************* The Mortal Kombat Death Matches (MKDM) are grueling battles of stamina and skill. The MKDM is a fighting competion available to all characters. This is the opportunity for you to show people what you are made of, to kill people, and earn cool prizes for doing it! ******************************************************************* =========================================================================== ***Basics*** The competition will be run once every other month. After the MKDM has been announced, players will have a few days before the competition begins in which they may post notes with their intention to join. Once you join you will be matched up with another competitor. NO ALTS!!! Only one character per person may join. You may issue a formal challenge to a player on a note, as long as it is posted to the player, and a coordinator. That player may then decline, or accept in the same way. If they accept, then you will face that person, PERIOD. (Must be in same division.) You may issue a formal challenge after each round. (Obviously, you can only issue this to people who won their fight the previous round). All fights will take place within the Warfare arena. All warfare rules apply, such as no healing pills! (See HELP WARFARE.) This is single elimination, so you lose once, and you're out. Fights are TO THE DEATH!! Fleeing IS allowed. Interfering with someone else's fight will result in DISQUALIFICATION. Cheating will result in disqualification. Fights will be run by an imm, or by a player designated to run it. We will work with you to determine the best time that will work for both parties fighting. It is your job to show up at the agreed upon time, failure to do so will result in a forfeiting of the fight. When a fight is to take place, a warfare will be started by the person running the event. If anyone who is not scheduled to partake in a fight during that warfare joins, they will be punished. (It will be announced prior to the war.) From the moment you enter the prep room, you will start a log file. After the warfare, you stop the log file. The information contained in a log file is completely confidential, and will only be used to ensure that no rules have been broken. Afterwards all logs will be sent to the coordinator. If the coordinator is not present and the combatants wish to fight anyways, just send the logs, and include the info about who started the war, so that the qps may be reimbursed. In the event that there are an odd number of people joining, one randomly chosen person will automatically ascend to the next level. This is called a WILDCARD, and will be chosen randomly before the battles begin. See HELP DIVISIONS for more details, including PRIZES!
