minotaur
Minotaurs are a race of bovine humanoids. Most Minotaurs are most comfortable living in large cities and are often somewhat xenophobic towards races of smaller stature. They live in polygamous family groups in which the more placid and civilized female cows outnumber the aggressive and egotistical male bulls by a significant ratio. Though they are vegetarian and not particularly stealthy, their tenacity and sharp senses make them excellent hunters and ceaseless, deadly foes. Minotaurs are good warriors, clerics, and mages, but seldom stoop to thievery. The axe is the weapon of choice among Minotaurs of all walks of life. Their mastery of the axe, coupled with their height and precision, gives them a knack for separating their opponents heads from their shoulders. They have an innate talent for finding people and objects using their uncanny sense of direction and smell. Minotaurs thick hide and bones offer protection against blunt attacks and chill, but due to their lack of genetic and dietary diversity, they are prone to disease, particularly the prion-borne Mad Minotaur disease.
