shaolin 'lethal hands' 'unarmed parry'
Shaolin are highly disciplined martial artists who have trained their bodies to become lethal weapons, well able to hold their ground against any armed opponent. By striking at the flat of blades or wrists of their opponents, they are able to parry attacks while unarmed, in the same way an armed combatant would. The lethal hands skill increases all damage dealt with unarmed strikes (by 25% of base damage). It also allows a shaolin to treat their hands like daggers for the purpose of backstab and circle, and acts like the assassination skill with unarmed strikes. The unarmed parry skill allows parrying attacks while unarmed. However, against armed opponents this is less effective than parrying with a weapon unless the shaolin also posesses the parry skill.
