| Gholams are ancient creatures who were created by a circle of powerful mages
to hunt down and kill their rivals. Their resistance to magic of all kinds,
combined with the abilities to find even invisible or astral victims, made
them an ideal weapon against enemy mages. However, they developed a will of
their own and fled or turned on their creators. A gholam's appearance is
human-like, though their bodies are boneless, allowing them to squeeze
through small fits and dodge blows with masterful skill. This lack of bones
is also responsible for their only weakness, for it makes them vulnerable to
piercing attacks. Reports claim a fear of silver objects, but for what reason
is yet unknown.
