Warlocks are arcane casters who have learned to channel raw eldritch energy
without shaping them into spells first. This allows them to blast their foes
with this deadly energy which bypasses immunities and most defenses, and may
inflict an eldritch curse on them, leaving them even more vulnerable to
further attacks.
The edritch blast skill deals direct damage to a single target. The greater
the maximal mana reserves of the warlock, the greater the damage dealt, though
no mana is actually expanded. Damage dealt is 2d4 + level + mana / 40, and the
focus bonus applies.
Syntax: blast <target>
At higher levels, targets who fail their saving throw against an eldritch blast
are also afflicted with an eldritch curse, leaving them vulnerable to magic.
Spells dealing damage can similarly bestow an eldritch curse, though this
happens less frequently (on average twice during a typical fight).
