Syntax: none Passive skill. A skilled Bard can pass off his failed attempt to charm a person as something other than a hostile act. When the Bard succeeds he is said to have "coerced" the mark into not fighting him. Coercion gives an (effective skill percentage)/2 chance to not initiate combat on a failed charm person cast. In addition, coercion will increase the charm person duration on NPCs by double at 100% effectiveness.
