Syntax: cast 'cone of exhaustion'
cast 'forboding ooze' <victim>
cast 'tomb stench' <victim>
cast 'zombie breath'
cast 'zone of damnation'
Created by the first necromancer of Aarchon before The Sundering,
these spells are often called 'black magics' by more conventional mages.
The necromancer (whose name has been lost in the mists of time) spliced
the spells of the mighty dragons with the dark power he/she wielded.
Thus the darkest, and some of the most potent, of any necromancer's
arsenal were created.
Cone of Exhaustion:
By twinning his/her dark energy with the frost of the ice dragons, the
unknown necromancer created a magic which drains the heat and the
will of the target, causing its victims to become sluggish.
Deals cold damage and chance to slow.
Forboding Ooze:
The unknown necromancer took the power of the green dragon's breath
and distilled it - turning the gas into a thick sludge which burns
the flesh of its victims and infects them with a septic poison which
often killed its victims who escaped the necromancer still living.
Deals acid damage and reduces dexterity.
Tomb Stench:
The necromancer, not content with his previous rituals, came up
with a new and horrifying spell. Taking the acidic spittle of the
black dragon, he paired it with an equal amount of negative energy,
The result was Tomb Stench - which assails it's victim's soul
directly causing grievious harm to the body - the disorder so severe
some victims have spontaneously exhibitied symptoms common with plague
victims.
Deals disease damage and chance to infect with disease.
Zombie Breath:
The nameless necromancer took the powerful positive charge of the
blue dragon's lightning discharge, and reversed the energy component.
This resulted in the zombie breath spell - which inflicts pure
anti-life damage.
Deals harm damage and chance to weaken.
Zone of Damnation:
The nameless necromancer's final recorded ritual was by far his
masterpiece. In a defiance of both Smote and Siva, both Order
and Chaos, he infused the breath of the Fire Dragon with stolen
holy power. The holy power rebelled to this binding, but the
nameless one's spellcraft was matchless, and now, when cast,
the trapped holy power rages against its opponents, cursing
them as it seeks to be reunited with the divinities it was
sundered from.
Deals negative damage and chance to curse.
