Don't bring any EQ in with you.

Walk around castle and get everything you can from the suit of armor, the desks, laying on ground, etc.

Should be able to find A Solid Rock Pick (mace) to use for a weapon, and a Sturdy Shield from the coat of armor.

You should find a slender rod somewhere, this is a key to a door on the top level. Go up the
stair case to the top floor, unlock east, open east. There is a chest here with a mob trigger
on it. Make sure you're spelled up as best you can. It's not a terribly difficult fight.

Start by killing mobs north of the Valley (in the Mine), like the Kobold Tunneler.
Make sure you have your Solid Rock Pick before you go out there.. it's needed for
mprogs.
