
Here you'll find some of the features that we believe make Aarchon unique and what it is today. Our goal is to provide content for both hardcore and casual gamers. We run a ROM 2.4 codebase that has been modified quite heavily, leaving mostly just the structure of stock ROM behind.

Questing
- Quest-master (mob) based quest system offering randomly generated quests

- Immortal ran quests on a regular basis
Levels / Remort
- Level cap of level 90 upon creation (remort 0)
- 7 Remorts currently implemented
- Maximum level after remort is 90 + Remort#
- Remorts are trials and tests of knowledge - Not instant
- Choose a new, more powerful race each remort
- Reroll your stats for better optimization
Classes
- 15 total classes with some overlap between them
- Unique skills/spells used to differentiate and define classes
- Cleric - A religious figure who channels miracles from the gods
- Mage - Someone who devotes their life to studying arcane magical rituals
- Thief - A criminal adept at making things theirs and not getting caught
- Warrior - A master of the battlefield. Skilled in combat, with a few spells
- Assassin - Warrior/Thief Hybrid - Permanent PKiller
- Gladiator - Streamlined Warrior
- Gunslinger - Thief / Warrior Hybrid
- Illusionist - Mage / Thief Hybrid

Races
- 19 Races available upon creation (see below), over 50 races available (5+ unlocked each remort)
- Higher Remort races include more powerful racial skills, permanent affects, specialties, and natural weaponry
- Avian - Wise and noble creatures, make good clerics and mages
- Drow - Smart and agile, make good warriors, thieves, and mages
- Dwarf - hearty little creatures, make good warriors
- Elf - Wise and quick, make good mages
- Gimp - Weak, dumb and slow creatures, makes good lawn furniture (Gimps have a low ETL (experience to level) but are vulnerable to both weapon and magic. Proceed with caution.)
- Goblin - Small, strong and agile creatures, makes good warriors
- Golem - Strong, but incredibly stupid, viable only as warriors
- Half Elf - Well rounded, make good thieves and mages
- Half Ogre - Strong beings, make good warriors
- Half Orc - Foul beasts, make good warriors and thieves
- Hobbit - Small and dextrous, make excellent thieves
- Human - Average stats, adept in all classes -- the vanilla race
- Leprechaun - Very intelligent tricksters, make good thieves and mages
- Mutant - Low constitution, but otherwise have potential in all classes
- Myrddraal - A souless, damned killer. Strong and disciplined.
- Ogre - Huge and powerful, make excellent warriors
- Pixie - Small, mischievous creatures, make good clerics and mages
- Saurin - Powerful and fast, make good warriors and thieves
- Troll - Large and tough, trolls make lethal warriors
Equipment
- Full or nearly full sets of equipment available every 5-10 levels
- Randomly generated stats on many items
- Random/rare drop items for more difficult-to-obtain hero gear
- Transparent equipment allowing your tattoos to shine through for additional bonuses
- Extensive building guidelines enforced to maintain balance
Clans
- 5 Clans, each with their own personality and purpose
- Clanwars between clans during times of high tension
- Internal clan-ranking system
